dc.description.abstractDevelopment of tourist infrastructure by the main components of the tourist service system causes a changes in approaches to their functioning and also an emergence of different types of hotel business enterprises in the light of current trends. The aim of the study is to assess peculiarities of functioning of the establishments of Transcarpathian region as an important segment of tourist infrastructure. In particular, statistics of the main indicators of activities of hotels and the similar placement facilities, as well as the dynamics of the number of specialized accommodation facilities in the study area has been presented. The conclusion is drawn on the need for a comprehensive approach aimed at improving the functioning of accommodation facilities, taking into account the needs of the international tourist flow.uk_UA
