The forecast of the deepstructure of the Pokutsk-Bukovinian Carpathians and finding promising for hydrocarbon deposits elevated areas of autochthon are conducted according to the results of analysis of drilling data, geological and tectonic materials, the morphology of the anomalous gravitational field and the analysis of geologicalgravitational modelling data. The method of detailed interpretation of the gravitational materials in combination with the other data allows us to detect tectonic dislocations, select and contour raised or lowered basement areas in particular the basis of the Precarpathian Fordip. The morphology of the gravitational field of the region is mainly connected with the structure of the Paleozoic-Riphean basement and its Mesozoic cover, which is confirmed in areas with well-studied geological structures, including the site where the Lopushna oil field was found. The important element of this method is the geological and gravitational modelling, which includes the creation of the models of initial geodensity according to the drilling data, geotechtonic and petrophysical materials with the following correction of beds of this geodensity models in computer simulations. Very good coincidence of the model gravity field with the observed gravitational field at the very first steps of modelling is a qualitative factor of the reliability of geological-gravitational modelling which is acute when there is a shortage of drilling data or when the wells are located beyond the boundaries of the objects being investigated.
