Власні назви нафтових свердловин відантропонімного походження (на матеріалі назв свердловин Бориславського нафтогазового родовища)

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано власні назви нафтових свердловин відантропонімного походження Бориславського нафтогазового родовища. Встановлено, що найбільшу кількість становлять назви свердловин, номіновані власними чоловічими та жіночими іменами. З’ясовано, що певну частку відантропонімних номінацій свердловин становлять назви, мотивовані прізвищем; іменем чи прізвищем відомої людини; поєднанням антропонімів і титульних найменувань.

В статье проанализированы названия нефтяных скважин отантропонимного происхождения Бориславского нефтегазового месторождения. Установлено, что наибольшее количество составляют названия скважин, номинированные собственными мужскими и женскими именами. Определенную часть отантропонимных номинаций скважин составляют названия, мотивированные фамилией; именем или фамилией известного человека; сочетанием антропонимов и титульных наименований.

The article studies proper names of oil and gas wells of anthroponomical origin. The materials for analysis include proper names of wells of the Boryslavske oil and gas field which was the oldest, the biggest, and the only one at the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century in Europe. The conducted analysis results have shown that among the names of oil and gas wells of anthroponomical motivational statement there are 33,7 % of wells, named by masculine name. It has been found out that masculine names that were taken as a basis for well names have Scandinavian, Hebraic, Greek, and Latin origins. Some names of the oil and gas wells have Polish variants of one kind or another. Among the names of wells there are diminutives with the reduced second or middle part of an anthroponym. Some names of the wells, motivated by the borrowed masculine names, are represented by several multilingual variants of the same name. The wells named by the Catholic calendar masculine names comprise the minimum number among all the analyzed oil and gas wells. It has been also found out that among the names of oil and gas wells of anthroponomical motivational statement there is a great number of wells, named by feminine names. The formation methods of these names are different. In particular, a considerable part includes the names of oil and gas wells formed on the basis of the borrowed feminine names. Some names of oil and gas wells are represented by one or several multilingual variants of the feminine names. The diminutive name variants may also occur. Among the studied materials there are also such names that reproduce wrong sounding of one or another feminine name (it is quite possible that some of the oil and gas wells names have been recorded incorrectly). We have found out that a considerable part among the names of the wells is made by such names that are motivated by two proper names, name and surname, or names and surnames of some famous people.
